Coke becomes Greek Licensed

Yep, you read that right. America’s favorite addiction is now licensed to sell Greek letters. No, not cocaine. Coca-Cola.

Sometime around March 13th, the Coca-Cola company officially became Greek licensed, and will now include fraternities and sororities in their “Share A Coke” campaign. Here is where I would normally insert a joke or two, but I doubt our friends at Greek Licensing HQ would appreciate that.

After a year of almost nothing but bad press for greek life, we finally have some good news. The Coca-Cola company becoming involved with greek licensing means that for the time being, fraternities and sororities are here to stay (we hope).

Although from their website it does not appear that Coke has secured licensing with all of the fraternities and sororities, they are currently licensed with quite a few organizations:

  • Alpha Gamma Rho
  • Alpha Sigma Tau
  • Alpha Xi Delta
  • Chi Omega
  • Delta Delta Delta
  • Delta Gamma
  • Delta Zeta
  • Gamma Phi Beta
  • Kappa Alpha Theta
  • Kappa Delta
  • Pi Beta Phi
  • Sigma Sigma Sigma
  • Theta Phi Alpha
  • Alpha Sigma Alpha
  • Alpha Gamma Delta
  • Alpha Delta Pi
  • Beta Theta Pi
  • Delta Chi
  • Delta Tau Delta
  • Kappa Alpha Order
  • Lambda Chi Alpha
  • Phi Gamma Delta
  • Pi Kappa Tau
  • Pi Kappa Alpha
  • Pi Kappa Phi
  • Sigma Alpha Epsilon
  • Tau Kappa Epsilon
  • Alpha Chi Omega
  • Zeta Tau Alpha

Good for you, Coca-Cola. Keep making the world a little happier. If you would like to get your own fraternity or sorority Coke bottle, just head on over to Coke’s website here.

Until next time, make sure you buy your buddy an ice-cold Coke, and show them how much you appreciate them. Cheers.
